THE ARTIST
Jomani Danielle is a Brooklyn-based, self-taught artist with Afro-Guyanese roots. She began painting daily in 2020 as a means of self-discovery, using vibrant abstraction and surreal portraiture to explore identity, liberation, and ancestral storytelling. Her work merges bold color, intricate patterns, and layered textures, drawing from Caribbean folklore, spirituality, and Brooklyn’s dynamic energy. Since 2021, she has exhibited across NYC, including Heath Gallery and The Brooklyn Art Cave. Through her art, she reclaims voice and vision, creating visual narratives of resilience, transformation, and cultural memory.
